Railroad pass hike

Wowee! We finally made it to Railroad Pass! From there most of us trekked down to the yurt while 4 folks went back to Silver Pass to bring the vehicles down for us. We went about 4 miles total, 1 mile on the Continental Divide Trail and the rest of it on old logging roads and thru the timber.........
The yurt is really a nice one, looks like it could be used all year around. Do any of you remember the honeymooners looking for this yurt several years ago in the snow and stumbling into our campfire at Tucker Ponds? No wonder they couldn't find it, it wasn't real easy in the Summer time and in the daylight.........
Wayne will lead us on a hike Monday, Doug will lead on Tuesday and I will lead another hike next Thursday; I think we will go back to the top of Fox mtn and look for chanterelle mushrooms and shed antlers.
All hikes meet at the VCPL at 9AM unless otherwise notified; bring a lunch, water, raingear and several friends....
