Wayne led 18 of us down an old logging road for 2.8 miles to a nice overlook and then back to the trucks for a total of 5.6 miles. The recent rain has really brought the wild flowers to life, the lupine is coming on with its' second session of blooming and the daisies are going wild............
TUESDAY HIKE WILL BE A CONTINUATION OF TRACING FREMONTS ROUTE TO POOL TABLE MTN AND WILL LEAVE THE VCPL AT 8 AM (NOT 9AM)!!!!
Thursday hike will be an easier one, mostly downhill to a yurt above Tucker Ponds, bring your lunch, water, raingear and a friend by 9AM at the VCPL.............
