Cathedral Creek trail

We hiked up the Cathedral Creek trail for about a mile and then took off up the mountain to get to the top of Cathedral Rock. The last quarter mile is pretty tough going due to the steepness of the slope. We gained about 1100 feet of elevation in just over a mile.................
We started getting sprinkled on after we got on top, so we didn't tarry very long. The trail is in great shape thanks to the Boot Hill Club (Ronnie, would you please forward this to the Boot Hill folks so they know we appreciate their efforts?) and it makes the going a lot easier when you don't have to climb over a lot of trees.
