Lake Fork Trail

After Dawn Klein broke a limb on this trail in late June, four of us cleaned the trees fallen across it.

Today, we placed a broken limb and sprigs of rosemary on the rock that felled Dawn.

We found the mushrooms a-poppin', Flowers and fruits showing their colors.

Recent rains filled the creek and made the falls look robust.

We avoided the rain that quit before we arrived and started only after we headed home.

Next Monday, 9 a.m. at SF Visitor Center, for a Divide-top hike near Ellwood Pass, … weather permitting.
