Due to a malfunctioning camera, only one picture was any good; take my word for it, we REALLY did go up and build a campfire, roasted wieners and hiked to the overlook. The wind made it pretty cool so we just built the fire up higher..............
Thanks to everyone for making it an enjoyable evening, I will try to do better with the camera next time..........
WE WILL HIKE THE C.D.T. NEXT TUESDAY FROM BONITO PASS TO SILVER PASS, LEAVING A VEHICLE AT SILVER PASS TO HAUL THE DRIVERS BACK TO THE TRAILHEAD. MEET AT 8AM AT RICKLES PARK, BRING YOUR LUNCH, WATER, CAMERA AND A FRIEND. This should be a magnificent hike with the colors being as good as they are.
