Barry Nelson led us up Penitente Canyon, then over into Witches Canyon, and then up to the A trail and on out to the Outer Loop then over to the Wagon Ruts and back to the vehicles; but no medicine tree was found. It was a very good hike with warm temps and pleasant breezes and with a good guide like Barry, no chance of getting lost!
If anybody knows the location of the medicine tree I would appreciate knowing it........I would like to see it again.
Wayne will lead us on another good hike next Monday, 9AM at the VCPL; bring your lunch, plenty of water and several friends........
