Sixteen hikers went to Crestone, toured the town, hiked the N Crestone Trail, ate a Bliss-ful lunch, greeted Kelly (formerly of South Fork), and visited various spiritual, educational, and residential spots in the Luiz Maria Baca land grant. This beautiful trail and the creek are worth a return visit.
Next week--back to 9 a.m. starting time from the South Fork Visitor Center on Monday morning.
We'll probably hike on a dry road or trail near town, assuming it's available.
