After riding 5 miles on a very rough road?, it was good to get out and walk around. We hiked past the Metroz lake and up a gentle slope to the Goodrich trail, then on East to the Deckers trail and then on to Goodrich Park. I was very disappointed that we found only a few edible mushrooms, this area hasn't received the amount of rainfall the other parts of the forest has gotten in the last month.
We made it to Goodrich Park just as it started to sprinkle, eventually it did rain some before everyone got loaded up in the vehicles, enough to get some folks wet.
We will meet at 9AM Monday for another great hike led by Wayne & Linda Moulds, bring a lunch, water, RAINGEAR and a friend..........
