Wayne Moulds led us up the Archuleta trail to share the beauty of the Weminuche Wilderness with some of the group that had never been up this trail before; so much to see and so few hours to do it in......
We lunched in a pretty spot and returned the way we had gone up, enjoying the water and the foliage.
We will hike Thursday in the Poage Lake area, bring a paper or mesh bag to collect mushrooms in, we should be able to find several different varieties in this area. After we look for the mushrooms we will look for the old trail that goes up to the saddle South of Poage and over into the Park Cr. drainage.
We will meet at the VCPL at 9AM, bring a lunch, water, raingear and a friend.......
