Wayne led us to the top of Lookout Mtn. which is the "D" mtn. in Del Norte. The town has set up several nice trails to explore, they are good trails for a short hike. We made it to the top and it was threatening rain so we scooted back to the vehicles before it started raining very much. It was 2 miles round trip and about 400 ft. of a climb to the summit...
We will be hiking Thursday, meet at the VCPL at 9AM, bring your lunch, water and a few friends..........Plan A is to go up Del Norte Pk. road, Plan B is somewhere else.
