Twenty-one hikers and a Rocky Mtn. Bird Observatory census-taker did not frighten off a mama blue grouse with three or four little ones (one is on the big picture at the bottom--may not come through). The flowers are taking over temporarily. Our state flower is the biggest star. Hearts and flowers go together in two species.
