There were 21 hikers today! We had an interesting hike up Miners Creek near Creede. Since there has been so much rain, the creek was running pretty high and we had no way to cross it at the third crossing. Several of the hikers made the crossing possible by putting logs and rocks in the creek. Some got wet in the process, but a good time was had by all. It was very enjoyable hiking along the creek.

All most ready!
Isabelle gives it a try.
This pretty pink flower is called Spreading Dogbane. It has a pleasant fragrance but the sap is poisonous.
