Friday a group of us went to Lake City to ride the Alpine Loop and go into American Basin to see the wildflowers. This year was somewhat of a disappointment when it came to the flowers, but the ride around Cinnamon Pass and Engineer Pass was a lot of fun. We barely got wet thanks to Connie’s encouragement to wear rain gear.

There were a lot of Larkspur blooming
The water was low in the creek
We didn’t stay very long at American Basin.

We missed most of the rain and had a nice lunch spot.
We had 14 machines and all these folks! Connie is taking the photo.
