On a beautiful day before St. Valentine's day, a couple of couples and four singles set out from the Mould's palace through state lands and back.
Sunshine started to turn to light clouds when we returned to the palace for cupcakes, ice cream, and cocoa 'n alternatives. Thank you Linda.
We enjoyed the comfort of the lovely new room. We'll be back to this trail in the summer.
We'll repeat a similar event elsewhere next Monday at 10 a.m. Meet at the Visitor Center Parking Lot in South Fork to set up car pooling. No pets, please. Friends with snowshoes are welcome (rentable at two places in town). Strangers welcome, as well.
