Wayne & Linda led us into Sawmill Park on a different trail, I happened to bring us out on a different trail also (unplanned). We found one of the old cabins back in the timber that I hadn't been able to locate for several years, but due to the very dry conditions we found it OK. We went up the old logging road to the fence and then North to the overlook. From there we could see the Sand Dunes and also Lost Lake.
Remember to bring insect spray tonight, the bugs are out.............
We will meet at the VCPL at 9AM Monday for another great, enjoyable hike. Bring a lunch, water and a friend..
