It finally happened! Great weather and a fully visible Full Moon, and a nice campfire with lots of good food to eat. There were 22 of us that took a chance on the weather and it really paid off for us as the showers went around us and the wind died down as twilight approached.
We hiked over to the overlook and could see most of the valley, the haze hid the Sand Dunes from us but it was still a tremendous sight...................
The Hope Cr. trail has been cleared, so it was suggested we do a "crossover hike" from Silver Pass to Alberta Lake on the Continental Divide Trail next Tuesday. Meet at the VCPL before 9 AM, bring your lunch, water and a friend........
Thanks to all of the help last night in making it a very enjoyable evening, you are appreciated.
