We had perfect weather for hiking, cool with just a little breeze and sunshine to warm us when we needed it. We didn't find the Apache tears and the mushrooms aren't up yet, so we had to settle for a great hike......
It will probably be at least another week before the mushrooms are up around the lake, it is over 11,000 feet elevation and cooler.
I have another commitment next Friday and will be unable to lead the hike; if somebody else would like to lead that would be fine with me.
