Wayne led us up the Embargo Cr. trail for a couple of miles, saw lots of pretty waterfalls, cascades, "upside-down icicles", some moose and some pretty aspen foliage. According to my sources (Bob), the icicles are upside down due to them forming from the mist/spray rising from the stream below; sounds good to me unless somebody has a better theory.......
The "rabbits" spotted the moose and Marty was able to get some nice pix of them, thanks Marty. Us "turtles" had to only hear about them and see them on Marty's camera.........
Wayne will sub for Doug tomorrow and Thursday I will take the folks to a limekiln and a grave on top of a hill in the limekiln area also. Ashley (and anybody else from the East) if you want to go meet us at Jacks market parking lot about 920AM............
As always, meet at the VC at 9AM, bring a snack, water, raingear and a couple of friends..
