The group marches on.The gulch up to Snow Mesa is packed with pikas. Our local hiking group has named the area Pika Gulch.Even a pika needs to scratch. The time up on Snow Mesa was absolutely wonderful. While we were there, no wind, sunshine. Great, stupendous. Loved those clouds.Ashley said that this was a cicada. It was a bright green.Oh yes, late summer flowers. It was a great day to hike and eat at Freemon's. Great hamburgers and ice cream. They taste so good, they cannot be good for you.Thanks,Bob.
The San Luis valley is located in Southern Colorado high up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains! Our club members are comprised of avid Outdoor Adventurers and Environmental Activists. We came together as a group to create an environment where we can enjoy our magnificent surroundings and work together to preserve and protect this incredible area.
