We cleared our adopted trail today, the Lake Fork Trail, moving several large rocks, trimming lots of brush and removing several deadfalls. This will improve the looks of the trail as well making it safer for all. The railings are gone from the bridge, we will put up new ones in the near future.
Thanks to all that helped, it made the job go so much faster and easier...................
Wayne & Linda will be leading the Monday hike, no destination has been chosen yet, will probably choose Monday morning. They will also lead the Tuesday hike, which will be up the Alder Bench trail several (5-6) miles and then back down the trail (unless you choose to bushwhack down and up to Alder Cr. road) to the vehicles.
All hikes meet at the VCPL at 9 am, bring your lunch, water, sturdy boots and a friend.
