Del Norte Peak Hike
Six stalwarts took the short steep hike over a long time to views that made it all worth the upward efforts. Del Norte Peak shows the effect of drought, but has many nice little wildflowers in bloom. The clear skies allowed us to identify many peaks that surround this sky island. Gary and Tommy sent the sun to us in bright flashes from a mirror at their home in Alpiine--must have been a big one.
