Doug led us UP thru the trees to about halfway to Lobo Overlook, intersecting the packed road about 1/4 mile up the hill. We had hot chocolate and capuccino when we got to the road. We went on up a ways and found a nice sunny, warm spot for lunch and more hot chocolate and capuccino. We didn't realize just how warm it was until a girl showed up wearing shorts and a shirtless guy. But they were young, just kids and who can figure?
We will leave the VCPL at 10 AM next Monday, bring your lunch, water and a friend............(if you don't have any snowshoes let me know and I will find you a pair to use)
