This Wednesday's hike involved 7 of us, with an "ecotone" theme. It also had a bit of South Fork history associated with the character of the forest today. All these pictures include forest land that was pretty heavily cut at the turn of the 19th Century.
Coming up--Dennis' Friday hike --new date (not as advertised in the local paper. Then, Monday, with Wayne
Next Wed. we'll go to Creede for a short uphill hike for a spectacular view from a rocky peak just north of town.
