Neither rain nor sleet nor dark of night will deter us from having our fun; but lightning is another story! We put up with the weather until the lightning started, then we loaded up our stuff and went to the Shepherd's to finish our outing.
On the way to the house I suggested we use candles to make the s'mores but Mary said she had another idea, so she used the microwave to make them and it worked great...........
Thanks to all the determined and hardy group, it will bring back memories for a long time. The last time we had to go to "Plan B" was many years ago on a moonlight snowmobile outing on Fox mtn. when a whiteout sent us back home.
Enjoy the rain, we need lots more!!
