Del Norte Peak Hike on Tuesday

It did not rain much and the sleet was short lived.

At the saddle, the view to the east was magnificent.  No rain yet.

I am always amazed at hardy growing things at these altitudes.

The group at the top, 12,400 ft.  It has rained some and sleeted some even though you see blue sky.

Below us were 9 elk who scampered into the trees after I sneezed.

Meanwhile cell phone communications were being completed to the valley below.
